Wedge Shot

In this week’s video, I’m talking about your wedge game. Too many amateurs have a tendency to hit with just the arms and hands on shorter shots, but the real key is to engage the workhorse! And what exactly is the workhorse? Click below to find out.

And… don’t forget to pick up one of my latest instructional DVDs, Assess and Correct (also available as a digital download. This one will help you learn how to properly diagnose your mis-hits on your own… and then apply the correct fix- for a lifetime of improvement and enjoyment on the course. 1. Well I’ve been having so much trouble pulling my wedge shots way left of the target. When I try to engage my hips to turn thru it often causes my clubhead to move a bit to the right coming into the ball and there it is – a shank! It’s killing me.

  2. I’m playing a Calloway super soft 38 compression ball. I believe it’s the longes
Ball for me,mostly because of the low compression . I’m 69 years old and can’t swing as hard as i used too. Do you agree with my choice?
