The difference between those who fail and those who succeed… is IMPACT!
After many years of studying the greatest players in the world, I founded Impact Zone Golf, where our goal is to enhance and accelerate the enjoyment and learning of the game of golf.
I enjoyed a spectacular amateur and collegiate career, with many of my records still standing today. I turned professional at 20, after my junior year at BYU. I played the tour for 16 years before transitioning to a golf analyst and commentator in the mid 90’s to 2010. In 2008 I founded Impact Zone Golf – my revolutionary system that concentrates on improving a players impact position rather than their “style” of swing.
Prior to co-founding Impact Zone Golf with Bobby in 2008, I had a 25-year career in the high-tech industry and was a member of the executive team of one of the world’s leading software companies. Driven by a passion to help others become successful, I underwent extensive post-graduate training to become a certified executive coach and to be a part of the International Coaching Federation. Besides having the opportunity to have coached many leaders and top talent in both Global 100 companies as well as small businesses, I have become a Certified HeartMath and Focus Band Coach. Using my knowledge and experience working with top performers, I now coach our golfing students to help them be their best, both on and off the course. When I am not coaching, you’ll find me overseeing strategy as well as the operations of the organization, making sure everyone has what they need to be the best in their role.
Growing up golf has always been a big part of my life. Starting at age 5, I began to play all kinds of sports which helped me develop the athletic skills needed for golf. I believe golf presents a lot of great opportunities for players of all levels that they can take down the road for many years. Golf has taught me a lot of the life lessons I have learned as well as great experiences with family/friends. As an instructor with Impact Zone Golf, I love making a difference in each individual’s game, allowing them to reach their goals and more fully enjoy this great game. I was very fortunate to go to Penn State University and play competitively on the Varsity Women’s Golf Team. After college I decided to turn professional and competed on the Mini tours for 2 years. With my competitive background and knowledge of the game, I hope to help others find passion for the game as I have. In addition to being an Impact Zone Golf Advanced Certified Instructor, I am also a proud US Kids Golf Certified Coach and US Kids Naples Tour Director.
I am the founder of Par Breakers Golf Academy and have been teaching golf since 1998.
