The difference between those who fail and those who succeed… is IMPACT!
After many years of studying the greatest players in the world, I founded Impact Zone Golf, where our goal is to enhance and accelerate the enjoyment and learning of the game of golf.
I enjoyed a spectacular amateur and collegiate career, with many of my records still standing today. I turned professional at 20, after my junior year at BYU. I played the tour for 16 years before transitioning to a golf analyst and commentator in the mid 90’s to 2010. In 2008 I founded Impact Zone Golf – my revolutionary system that concentrates on improving a players impact position rather than their “style” of swing.
Prior to co-founding Impact Zone Golf with Bobby in 2008, I had a 25-year career in the high-tech industry and was a member of the executive team of one of the world’s leading software companies. Driven by a passion to help others become successful, I underwent extensive post-graduate training to become a certified executive coach and to be a part of the International Coaching Federation. Besides having the opportunity to have coached many leaders and top talent in both Global 100 companies as well as small businesses, I have become a Certified HeartMath and Focus Band Coach. Using my knowledge and experience working with top performers, I now coach our golfing students to help them be their best, both on and off the course. When I am not coaching, you’ll find me overseeing strategy as well as the operations of the organization, making sure everyone has what they need to be the best in their role.
I grew up learning to play the game at Deerfield Resort, in LaFollette TN, which was the first golf course that Bobby Clampett designed. Deerfield is also where I worked my first job in the golf business. I knew I wanted to be a golf coach, so I moved to Florida to pursue my dream. I studied under the top instructors in the country and have given over 2,500 lessons in the last 4 years utilizing the latest and greatest technology. I believe anyone, at any age, dexterity, etc., can learn to play the game better and have more fun. I am Studio Manager and Master Instructor at our World Headquarters in Naples, FL.
I am a graduate of Methodist University where I was an All-American player on the women’s golf team. After graduation I competed professionally for 10 years on the Future’s Tour, now known as the Symetra Tour. I began my teaching career in 1998 with the John Jacobs Golf Schools primarily in Orlando, Florida as well as Arizona and Wisconsin. In my passion for learning and teaching the golf swing I have attained many certifications at the highest level, which include, the LPGA Teaching Division, The Golfing Machine, Trackman, KVest, Swing Catalyst and TPI, to name a few. My teaching philosophy has always been centered on IMPACT and I am honored to be a part of Bobby’s talented team of instructors. I am also the Head Teaching Professional at TwinEagles Golf Club, Naples FL and the Director of Instruction at Edgewood Country Club, Rivervale, NJ. Come join us for a golf school or lesson and see what a difference you can make in your game today!

I have been fortunate to be the Director of Golf at some of the finest golf facilities in America including Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Sherwood Country Club in Westlake Village, CA; Doral Resort in Miami; Governors Club in Chapel Hill, NC and TwinEagles in Naples. I’ve given over 20,000 lessons/clinics to golfers of all ages and skill levels. I just completed my 8th year as the Boys Varsity Golf Coach at The Community School of Naples (CSN). Our teams finished in the top 5 in the FHSAA State Championship four straight years (2010-2013) while capturing six straight (2010-2015) District Titles and three Regional (2010-2012) Championships. In the past four years eight of our players have gone on to play Division I Golf for such storied programs as Florida, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and Augusta State. In 2011, I was selected as the SFPGA SW Chapter Junior Leader.
While attending Penn State University, majoring in Kinesiology, I had an opportunity to move to Jupiter, FL and intern under PGA Tour Biomechanics expert, Coach Joey Diovisalvi. While at Joey D Golf, I experienced first hand what goes into training players of all ages, including some of the most elite players on tour. Upon graduating with my bachelor’s degree in 2014, I went on to work alongside Coach Joey D for two seasons as a Biomechanics Coach. During those seasons, I had the opportunity to train competitive amateurs, long drive competitors, and professionals from numerous tours, helping them all understand the importance of knowing their golf body in order to prevent injury and improve their game.
I started playing golf at the age of 11 where I took my first lesson at Tiburón Golf Club, the location of one of our IZG academies. It was here I started to love the game and learn that it was going to become a bigger part of my future. I graduated from the PGA Golf Management Program at Florida Gulf Coast University (GO EAGLES). This program gave me the ability to learn from some of the best instructors in the business. I have worked with several junior programs in my past including The First Tee of Naples/Collier where I was a head coach and led weekly summer programs. The circle of life has brought me back to Tiburón and the Bonita Springs area, where it is now my life mission to give back to those who want to get better and have fun playing golf.
I am a PGA Class A Member and have been teaching in the Naples area since 2002. I was the Head Golf Professional for 17 summers at Fishers Island, located off the coast of Long Island, and I have been nominated by my peers for Teacher of the Year in the Connecticut Section PGA, South Florida Section PGA 2011-2014 and won the Teacher of the Year for Southwest Florida Chapter of the PGA in 2014.
I received Honorable Mention for US Kids Top 50 Instructors list for 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. I won the Junior Leader award for the Southwest Florida Chapter of the PGA for 2010 and completed Level I and Level II Golf Coaching Certification. I am TPI Level II Junior Certified and Golf Machine Certified as well. Over the past eight years, nine of my high school students have gone on to earn College Golf Scholarships. Trackman 2 certified.
Prior to joining the Impact Zone Golf team, I worked at several top tier facilities in the United States including PGA National and several high-end private clubs, as well as living/working abroad for over three years in Singapore.
After leaving a 15-year career in the golf industry, as a PGA Member, to finish my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, I then went on to finish my Masters degree with the University of Florida. I was then able to utilize those skills in helping to design and oversee the construction of our World Headquarters in Naples, Florida.
I am an advanced full swing instructor with Impact Zone, and a Level 2 SAM Putt instructor (one of 80 in the world), and as such I am considered one of the putting instruction experts at the studio.
I enjoy working with golfers of all skill levels in both facets of the game, Full Swing and Short Game, in order to help my students get better, faster and more efficiently.
