I am 76 years young and used to shoot in the mid to low 80s. One day around 15 years ago I stepped on the course and my mind went blank and I have not been able to break a 100 since! Mental? Oh yes, but I am unable to crack it. My challenge for you is, to teach me how to come out of that mental constipation and start shooting in the low 80s again.

Answer

This issue is not uncommon. Lack of confidence comes from issues occurring at impact that are not diagnosed properly and thus the proper correction is not made, leading to continual bad shots. This starts that terrible chain reaction of lack of confidence, leading to fear and the mental constipation you refer to. The only remedy is to come see me (in Carmel, CA or Naples, Florida) or one of my academy instructors in Naples for a lesson.
