Another myth is that a longer swing, bigger shoulder turn, getting the club to parallel increases clubhead speed. That’s not necessarily true. Some of the shortest swings in the history of the Tour, like JB Holmes and Dan Pohl, have super short backswings. It is very individualistic and more related to Lag and the workhorse than anything.
