I’ve watched all of your videos several times. It seems like you use a flex of your knees to initiate your swing. Is that your trigger mechanism?

Jim,

You are spot on, I do have a slight hip flex when I initiate the swing. But the more important thing is, how am I using the workhorse in conjunction with that? I explain in this week’s video.

  1. Yes…I agree. A slight squat towards the ball at the start of the downswing makes all the difference in the world for me. If i do that first in the downswing, everything else seems to fall in place correctly.

  2. What is meant by the terms “Fire the right side”? Is this referring to use of what you call the workhorse in the golf swing?

  3. Bobby, I have a severe problem of my swing bottom on chip shots and pitch shots. I always seem to hit behind the ball and chunk it. Please help, its costing me a about 5 to 6 strokes a round. Not a problem on long game.

  4. I can’t seem to find a way to start my swing, I get over the shot and can’t seem to go. I freeze over the shot, any suggestions?

  5. Tell us about Dustin Johnsons Wrist position at the top of the swing. It seems to help me. Your opinion?

  6. How do you not tense up on the tee when facing a shot in the wind or a narrow fairway with trouble on both sides?

  7. I can’t seem to find a starter for my back swing. I stand over the shot too long. I seem to freeze there.
    I am 76 and play yo a 12.7 index.
