Bobby’s Answer

The key lies in being confident and trusting your swing. But how can you do that? Watch the video below to find out!

  1. Can you comment on drills on how not to keep right elbow on backswing too close to body because I’m losing power

    1. David,
Train the right arm to extend the left on the backswing. That’s called “extension”. Use the “Toolbox” backswing set up to drill.
      To better impact,
      Bobby

    1. Don,
The impact snap is a great training aid for this. Call our shop at 239-236-5536 to order or stop by our indoor performance center in Naples, Fl.
      To better impact,
      Bobby

  2. Bobby, I have a terrible habit of flicking wrists / coming up on chip shots (and some pitch shots).
Costs me around 5 – 7 shots per game
    Can you please help

    1. Allan,
That’s a common problem rooted in never properly learning the load, lag, workhorse sequence. I see you live in Australia. Flying to Naples probably isn’t in your future, so get the digital academy (www.izgdigitalacademy.com) and call us for a remote lesson. That’s the most effective plan I could offer.
      To better impact,
      Bobby

    1. Pete,
Lots of ways to improve Dynamic #5, but picking the best way that also improves the other dynamics is the key. I would have to see your swing to determine the best plan of action.
      To better impact,
      Bobby

  3. I like the tips information so far but my question is general. The tips tell me what and why, but many of us need the how to complete the learning process.

    1. Don,
There is no substitute for private instruction. Come visit me or one of my trained instructors in Naples, Fl
      To better impact,
      Bobby

  4. Bobby my ball flight with a driver curves to left at end of ball flight which puts me in a trap or out of bounds on narrow fairway what am I doing to cause this ball flight

    1. Jim,
Always work from impact backwards. Sounds like face closure at impact is happening. Sustaining clubhead lag, dynamic #4 is a good place to start.
      To better impact,
      Bobby
