After School Programs

Impact Zone Golf is offering after school golf programs for juniors 6-17 years old.

Impact-Based® Teaching will give your junior golfer all the tools needed to progress, no matter what age or skill level!

Impact Zone Golf Juniors Program follows US Kids curriculum. This curriculum is based on the new national US Player Development Model for Golf. While we incorporate our unique Impact-based teaching into the model, we can now track overall skill and athletic development and readiness, including mental and physical training called Player Pathway.* Instructors will use top technology for advanced players such as TrackMan4, Foresight, CoachNow, Swing Catalyst high speed video and pressure mat systems and K-Coach 3D biomechanics.

Class schedule & LoCations

Impact Zone Golf Academy will be at Forest Glen Golf & Country Club in Naples, Florida, a well-renowned facility

Forest Glen Golf & Country Club is a fully equipped facility, perfect for learning the game of golf. With a driving range, short game area, and more, juniors of all abilities will be able to take part in the fun.

Impact Zone Golf’s Junior Academy is a mixture of traditional skill development, modern learning methods and playing skills while also teaching juniors the mental side of the game. Together this creates fun, challenging and exciting classes! Juniors are grouped based on age and skill level while incorporating and encouraging mentoring and leadership.

In Naples at Forest Glen Country Club, we will be offering a 2-hour class on Tuesday and Thursday that would be our “regular” school year program. We will also be offering a 1-hour beginner class and also 1-hour full swing class on weekdays. The FUNdamentals 30min classes will be on Saturdays.

Note that the 1-hour full swing class will be based solely on drivers and irons.

Junior golfers will create wonderful memories at Bobby Clampett’s Impact Zone Golf Academy at The Club at Renaissance.

Conveniently located just minutes from Fort Myers Regional Southwest Airport, The Club at Renaissance is one of the area’s top clubs, featuring an Arthur Hills designed course as well as home to the newest Bobby Clampett Impact Zone Golf Academy. Young golfers will also have the opportunity to perfect their game on-site with Impact Zone Golf, where it’s all about impact, not swing style. Bobby Clampett and The Impact Zone philosophy begins by identifying what that proper impact really is and how all golfers can achieve it. In so doing, golfers can have the knowledge of what they want to accomplish at impact through their swing. When impact is improved, scores go down and the enjoyment of the game skyrockets.

In Fort Myers at The Club at Renaissance, we will be offering 1-hour classes on Wednesday and Friday that would be our “regular” school year program. We will also be offering 1-hour beginner classes and our FUNdamentals 30min classes on Saturdays.

Wednesday and Friday

3:30pm-4:30pm AND 5:00pm-6:00pm
11:00am-Noon – beginners class

FUNdamentals (ages 3-5)

3:00pm-3:30pm AND 3:30pm-4:00pm

About the Player Pathway program:

There are 5 levels to this Player Pathway, with each level divided into:

  • putting
  • around the green
  • full swing
  • knowledge
  • scoring

Putting, around the green, and full swing
are divided into two sections: form and skills. There are various tests and checkpoints they have to pass in order to move forward to the next level.

Knowledge is divided into 4 parts: etiquette, rules, equipment, and sportsmanship.

Scoring is based on their scores. The “skills” section is based on the specific level they are on. For example, level one must shoot a 6 or better 3 different times from 50 yards. Level two must shoot 6 or better 3 different times from 100 yards. Once the kids reach level 4, they start playing 9 holes. These will be evaluated during class.

The kids then earn pins when they have completed each section in their respective levels. This allows them to move onto the next level. All levels and progress are kept track based on a personal booklet to help keep track of their progress.

For more advanced juniors we will be putting together a High School/College Prep class. We are currently working with our senior staff on a course that will be based on, on course work.

I am so happy I invested time to do this! I am a Junior Golfer, with two Junior World Runner-Up titles including two Jr World Tournament Low rounds. As a Freshman in the fall of 2019 I won the NorCal High School championship and low round record holder. I have had significant coaching and this season has been the most amazing to date.

My 12 year old son Kody studied at Impact Zone Golf Academy last summer. The sessions were 3 times a week, 3 hours at a day. His game improved greatly in just a few short months. His short game from 100 yards in showed the greatest improvement. Instead of simply trying to get on the green, Kody is now focusing on sticking it close. In addition, the putting analysis equipment at the indoor facility explained his putting flaws and how to improve. His stroke is now firm and confident.
