Step Into the Mystery: A One-of-a-Kind Pro-Am Golf Experience at Harding Park

On Monday, September 22, golfers will gather at Harding Park Golf Club in San Francisco for an event unlike any other: the ITP Golf in the Kingdom Pro-Am, co-hosted by me, Bobby Clampett, alongside the legendary Michael Murphy, author of Golf in the Kingdom.

This isn’t just another pro-am—it’s an invitation to explore golf as both performance and possibility.

A Glimpse Into the Mystical Side of Golf

Not long ago, during my time on the Champions Tour, I experienced something that changed the way I think about this game forever. In over four decades of professional golf, I had never slam-dunked a shot from the fairway. Then, within six months of meeting Michael Murphy, I did it twice.

The odds? Astronomical. Yet it happened. Even more astonishing—I called it in the air before the ball dropped.

That experience opened my eyes to a dimension of golf far beyond mechanics, impact, and shot-making. Don’t get me wrong—improving impact is transformative. But there’s another level available to all of us, a realm that feels mystical, even supernatural. It’s where golf becomes a deeper exploration of possibility.

What to Expect on September 22

Together with Michael Murphy, we’ll guide participants through this extraordinary dimension of golf—where body, mind, and spirit meet the game.

Joining us will be PGA TOUR star John Cook, who brings his own insights into mindset, flow, and performance, along with my friend Mark Lye, a seasoned professional with deep wisdom on golf’s inner game.

This isn’t just about competition. It’s about connection—connection to the game, to each other, and to the mysterious creative forces that shape our shots, our rounds, and maybe even our lives.
