Question

What’s a good way to keep the ball in play off the tee with your driver?

September 12, 2018

Bobby’s Answer

The Ally Challenge is on this week on the PGA Champion’s Tour, held at Warwick Hills G&CC in Grand Blanc, MI.  This course has special memories for me as I earned my PGA Tour card there in 1980 by shooting 32 on the final nine to tie for 7th and earned enough money to by-pass the dreaded “Q-School.”  The following year I should have won, but my 10’ putt on the first sudden death hole lipped out.  Hale Irwin sank a 30 ‘ side-winder on the par 3 17th to win.

Warwick Hills is a narrow driving course.  I use the “stinger driver” strategy off the tee to keep the ball in play.

    1. Thanks Phil, I’m trying to relate Clampett’s Corner to more pertinent and timely events, tournaments, topics, etc. If you’re standing still, your not moving forward! LOL

    1. Chris,
I just personally checked this one myself as well as had our technical team check this video and it works fine on our end.
      To better impact,
      Bobby
