Bobby’s Answer

Tim asks Bobby how to get more distance? Bobby explains how it’s important as
a player to not lose any accuracy to hit it farther. Learning to swing with the 5 Dynamics is the

  1. Watched the video. Made some swings in the practice bunker until impact zone was achieved then hit some balls to confirm on day one. Played on day two. Temp was 43 degrees, wind was blowing at 20 to 30 mph. Shot 38 for 9 missing one fairway and two greens. I said to my son, “pinch me so I can confirm this is real”. After 40 years of playing I finally found “my” swing. Thanks

  2. I have taken lessons through the years, bought training equipment, tried many different techniques, and STILL can’t break the habit of casting— especially under any pressure or as the round of golf progresses into the last holes.
    Am I doomed?

    1. ML,
I have seen hundreds and maybe thousands of students who have said to me they felt hopeless. Though it is true, the longer one has a repeated pattern, usually the harder it is break. I believe everyone can make significant improvement. It starts with understand what proper impact is and how to achieve it. Private lessons with me or one of my Academy trained Impact Zone instructors is recommended for you. I hope you can make a trip to Naples soon.
      To better impact,
      Bobby

    1. Troy,
I’m not sure I truly understand your question. Tension is always a culprit of load and lag.

  3. Bobby, I am 79 with 4 surgeries to my stomach, 2 back surgeries , the last one in January was the fusion with rods on L3-L5. My left leg is numb with drop foot in my left foot. I can no longer hold my weight on my left side with out falling. I was, in my younger days, a single digit handicap. I am now a 13.7 index. How can I generate enough club head speed to play a more consistent game?

    1. David,
YIKES!!! You’re catching up on the top surgery list to my friend Billy Glasson. I would have to see what abilities you have in your left foot and left leg. I’m sure I could help you improve your impact even though you are not able to hold a finish position like you used to.
      To better impact,
      Bobby
