I watched your Lag DVD, and you say you want our grip to be relaxed. But shouldn’t there be quite a bit of tension in order to produce the quantity and quality of lag you talk about?
Hi Curtis,
Great comments! In golf, there is no doubt that you want to be very tension free.
But be warned, I don’t mean lackadaisical. We need enough pressure to hang onto the golf club.

The key is that the wrist joints should be very loose. When the wrist is relaxed you will be able to engage the quantity of lag.
I explain more in today’s video.
I’m new to the game and in my 2nd year of golf. I’ve been doing everything I can to be a better golfer. Not trying to be great just trying to play for fun. I can’t do that because I continue to slice my ball. I look in front of the ball and think about impact zone. Can you help me not slice my ball please and thank you
Whats the best way to keep your angle through the swing, and where should your head be at address?
I wish my swing looked like that
You keep “the angle” by leading the downswing with the legs and lower body.
The head should be behind the back of the ball.
Does the green side bunker shot change at all from the totally awesome 5 dynamics.
Your grip on THE handle as to be THE softest possible ,combined with very loose wrists .
THE best exersise I know to train your lag is THE one promoted by ancien t golf star ,JOHNNY REVOLTA ,with THE REVOLTA FORMULA : one two three swing :it trains perfectly your hands to produce More lag .

enjoy your comments, but would love to see your visuals too
Bobby, thanks for your teaching videos. Have loved getting to go to Masters practice rounds but haven’t been drawn lately. What is the fee for your program when you take students to Augusta? Would treasure going one more time and bringing my wife if possible.
