Bobby’s Answer

The QBE Shark Shootout returns this week to the home of Impact Zone Golf at the Tiburon Golf Club at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida.  Steve Stricker and Sean O’hair are the defending champions, finishing at 26-under 190 and each earned $410,000.

It was the second time Stricker and O’Hair won the team event hosted by Greg Norman, but the first time as partners. Stricker won in 2009 with Jerry Kelly, and O’Hair won in 2012 with Kenny Perry.

It was Sean O’hair’s eagle at the par 5 17th that sealed the tournament for the duo.  Playing downwind, O’hair launched a prodigious drive that left him only a 7 iron second shot.  When O’hair holed the 12 foot eagle putt, the tournament was virtually over.  Bobby explains what you can do differently with the driver on a downwind hole to get extra distance off the tee.
