Bobby Clampett’s Impact Zone® training has a simple, clear message: “It’s all about IMPACT.” Leading with Impact is a new program designed to help leaders leverage that message and strengthen their capacity to achieve extraordinary results not only on the golf course, but in their organizations as well. The program draws on the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® model, the heart of the widely respected book The Leadership Challenge®, by Kouzes and Posner.
Leading from the Impact Zone turns the abstract concept of leadership into easy-to-grasp practices and behaviors that can be taught and learned by anyone willing to step up and accept the challenge to lead.
Participants will spend time in a group setting hearing from Bobby on his Impact Zone approach and will be introduced to The Five Practices Model of Exemplary Leadership by Beth High, a Certified Master of The Leadership Challenge. Together they will help demonstrate these proven approaches work together. They will also be introduced to the practice of Mindfulness, the key to success in applying both powerful methodologies. They will then transition onto the course to put it all into practice.

Prior to joining the Impact Zone Team, Marianna had a 25-year career in the high-tech industry and was a member of the executive team of one of the world’s leading software companies. Throughout her career, her roles and responsibilities included sales and marketing management, consulting, and general operations. Marianna was recognized by a leading trade publication on their list of the Top 50 Women in Technology.
Under Marianna’s leadership, organizations have flourished in creating value for clients, purpose for employees, and bottom line impact, often times producing record-breaking sales results. Always driven by a passion to helping others become successful, Marianna has provided coaching and consulting services that focus on developing and nurturing leadership skills for leaders in corporate America. In working with top talent in organizations, she helps executive management as well as individuals clarify their organizational or individual purpose, and, through that, igniting passion and fulfillment. Marianna has also provided sales acceleration, sales alignment, and sales management consulting and coaching that enable companies to increase the effectiveness of their sales forces and drive top line growth.
Marianna is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, with a B.S. in Business Administration. Active in the community, she has served as both an active volunteer as well as board member for organizations ranging from those dedicated to children to strategic workforce development. She is also an ACC, ICF and HeartMath Coach. She resides with her husband, Bobby Clampett, in Bonita Springs, FL and Carmel, CA.
Beth High of HighRoad Consulting is one of the world’s leading experts in applying The Leadership Challenge development programs to public sector organizations and adopting the programs into multinational, international and culturally complex environments. She co-authored The Student Leadership Challenge with Jim Kouzes & Barry Posner; has been instrumental in the training of The Leadership Challenge facilitator network in the Middle East and is experienced in delivering programs in UAE. Beth’s ability to engage with participants at every level, develop their full potential and her commitment to the organizations with which she works with has made her the well-respected partner of Wiley that she is today.
Beth’s Personal Statement
I consult with companies globally on how to expand the effectiveness of their existing leadership programs. My experience enables me to provide a range of services from compelling keynotes, to consulting, designing and delivering long format (18-24 month) programs for clients. These programs are often built around virtual centers and use a blended learning approach. These centers allow participants to have the extended practice essential for building skills and provide the program owners with evidence of ROI from the training. What I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to connect with clients. Helping people customize program content so that it generates results, then capturing and analyzing those results is more than fun.
I have a strong team of partners to draw on to meet the needs of my clients. This includes the ability to provide expert coaching, additional content areas (The LPI, MBTI, Emotional Intelligence, etc.), facilitation in other languages, and technical advising.
