The Impact Zone® Junior Golf Academy uses the Operation 36® framework to structure our program. PGA Team Golf serves as a fun, social, less stressful approach to tournament play and is a great way to get kids involved with the game of golf in a competitive team environment. The basic premise is to create a positive team atmosphere for young golfers, comparable to other youth sports leagues, such as soccer and baseball. Similar to these sports, teams have weekly practices where golf instruction is offered by local PGA and LPGA Professionals serving as team coaches at public and private golf facilities throughout South Florida. Leagues are separated by county and weekly tournaments are held during the spring/summer and fall months for area teams in each league.
Our next schedule will be Spring 2019.
Impact Zone Golf is proud to be the Tournament director for the U.S. Kids Naples Local Tour. U.S. Kids Golf Local Tours are created to provide boys and girls, ages 5 to 14, the opportunity to advance their skills in the game in age-appropriate competition without having to take the time and incur the costs of having to travel long distances. A Local Tour consists of individual one-day tournaments including a season-ending one-day Local Tour Championship. Players earn awards and points for each tournament. Similar to the PGA Tour, players at U.S. Kids Golf events are encouraged to have caddies to help them play their best. Allowing caddies is a special component of our tournaments and is part of our commitment to encouraging family interaction that builds lasting memories. Players age 8 and under must have a caddie at all times.
The next tour dates will be Spring 2019! For more information and to register, please visit: http://www.uskidsgolf.com/tournaments/local/find-local-tour/285135/naples
Impact Zone Golf is excited to offer training sessions for juniors signed up to participate in Drive, Chip, & Putt local qualifying. Training will specifically target each area of the competition and is designed to prepare juniors for optimum performance through weekly simulated competitions utilizing Trackman technology. Juniors are encouraged to attend multiple sessions to reach their potential!
This weekly training runs each year between mid-May and through the local qualifier dates.
PGA Jr. League brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals.
Boys and girls of all backgrounds and skill levels learn and play together in a supportive, two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship, builds confidence and promotes sportsmanship.
With over 50,000 participants in 2018 – and Ambassadors including Rory McIlroy, Michelle Wie, Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson – PGA Jr. League has wide-ranging appeal for both youth and their parents.
Impact Zone Golf Junior Academy fields teams each summer. The league is open to all juniors, 13 and under, in the area. Our league runs June-July, with an All-Star team advancing post season play in subregionals and then have the opportunity to advance to regionals and then to the PGA Jr. Championship!
At its core, PGA Jr. League is a group of local golf teams who play a series of games against each other, utilizing a nurturing and social scramble format. The program is available to boys and girls of all skill levels. PGA and LPGA Professionals exclusively serve as Captains and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all that encourages skill and character development.
While the format and key pillars of PGA Jr. League apply to all teams and leagues across the country, the program is organized at the local level by individual PGA and LPGA Professionals in your community. As such, the way in which each league or team operates – whether it be the number of teams in a league, the scheduling of games or the number of practices – may vary slightly from team to team.
Understood By All Levels
I want to thank you for the great instruction provided at the Impact Zone Golf School by yourself and your instructors. The 2 days were extremely well organized, professional, and very informative. The "Impact Zone" process says it all about making proper contact with the ball, and can be understood by all levels of golfing skill. It seems to me, that all the other methods of teaching, just add to the confusion of the "perfect" golf swing. Thank you again!
