Sam Randolph

Master Instructor

Sam Randolph Jr. was born in Santa Barbara, California on May 13, 1964. He worked and learned to play golf at La Cumbre Country Club where his father, Sam Randolph Sr. was the Head Golf Professional for 38 years. While Sam was growing up, he excelled at baseball, football, basketball and golf. By age 15, golf had become his favorite sport. Sam had a very successful junior golf career that deepened his desire to play golf at higher levels. He went on to play college golf at the University of Southern California (USC) from 1982-1986. Sam was a 4—year All-American, winning 12 collegiate events and the U.S. Amateur in 1985. He turned professional the summer of 1986 and qualified for the PGA Tour in the fall. Sam played the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour for 16 years, winning once at the Bank of Boston Classic in 1987. He was inducted into the USC Hall of Fame in 2005.

Sam has been teaching golf to every level of player since 2003. He will lead you to discover your swing (YOUR swing, not THE swing!), give you world class short game lessons, help you with your mental game and your fitness. Sam enjoys coaching individuals and leading IMPACT ZONE Golf Schools.
