Impact Zone Golf Academy Instructor Ellen Ceresko Qualifies for the 2020 KPMG LPGA Championship

Impact Zone Golf Academy Instructor Ellen Ceresko carded a 3 over par 75 in the final round of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional National Championship at famed Pinehurst CC #8 today to finish alone in 4th place, qualifying for the 2020 KPMG LPGA Championship to be held June 23-28 at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newton Square, PA.

The former Penn State Women’s Golf Star will be returning to her home state next June to compete in her first Major Golf Championship. “I’ve learned so much about my own game as well as helping others since I joined Bobby Clampett’s Impact Zone Golf Team back in 2017”, said Ceresko playing in her first golf tournament in almost three years. “I only wish I had this knowledge when I was playing professionally, I know it would have catapulted my playing career. But at least now I can help golfers improve their own game through having a better understanding of impact, through Bobby’s reliable ‘Impact-Based® Teaching System.

It’s the most radically different approach to teaching golf. Like others who work with the system, I was freed from worrying about my swing, knowing all I needed to do was keep it simple and trust my swing. Today, though I shot 75, I had my best ball-striking day ever. It’s so gratifying to be able to assess and correct my missed shots and see my game progress like this when I’m not even practicing very much.”
