What position should your clubs toe be at waist high and how far inside do you move the club on your take away?

Style based teachers would be able to answer this, but I can’t! Ray Floyd took the club farther inside than anyone and won multiple majors!

Hi Bobby, I notice you take the handle low and left post impact, a really modern rotational release. Are you swinging or hitting? Especially on pitch shots it’s also evident. I took your clinic in Steamboat/Catamount summer before last. I’m a 17-20 handicap my entire life and now 65 years old. I watch your videos regularly but I’m a hands on learner so it is hard for me to take tips from any video and incorporate into my swing/game. I’ve had lots lessons from various pga pros and my game remains basically the same. My home pro tells me his lessons over the past 25 years are successful because my game is no worse with age. That is true but still discouraging if I’ll never improve. But I wanted to let you know I could/have applied this video lesson of lifting my left heel into my swing (normally I don’t get much turn and I have a “armisy” type swing) and I am hitting the driver/woods/rescue farther and straighter. But the same does not seem to apply to shorter irons. Any additional tips to help me to turn and get thru the swing/ball with 7 iron-wedges?
My drive goes high and straight. I like the straight part but not the high, because I feel it takes away from my distance. I’ve lost about 30 yards on my drive. How can I hit it lower and still keep it straight?
Should I take the club inside on the takeaway to produce a swing path that is in to out?
I’m 81 with a 12.4 index. I have a problem coming up and out of shots. It can happen with all clubs and usually when I have a chance to shoot a really good round. What should I focus on to stay down through the shot.
